Bag a Tagger

Hertfordshire Crimestoppers are happy to support the Police in their Bag a Tagger campaign, aimed at eradicating graffiti in Hertfordshire. In Hemel Hempstead, there have been hundreds of graffiti 'tags' placed at various locations across the town.......more

Project Inhibit

We are supporting the British Oil Security Syndicate (BOSS) and Hertfordshire Police Campaign targeting those criminals who steal petrol from service stations in Project Inhibit - The objective is to deny the criminal fuel for use in their motor vehicles. Crimestoppers logo and publicity have been used in supporting this campaign - appeals for information in the media included appeals for information on any crime. This has been a very successful campaign for the police and the Oil companies operating service stations in Hertfordshire.

Operation Relentless

Hertfordshire Constabulary has launched another major operation in February 2008. This time it's an initiative to pursue and catch burglars and to drive down dwelling burglary in the county which, although was previously dropping, has unfortunately begun to rise since the New Year.......more

Operation Manhunt is on - join in!

In February 2008 Hertfordshire Constabulary launched an awareness campaign and police operation to catch distraction burglars. They are treating this crime with the same importance as serious and organised crime and are therefore deploying the same tactics. Hertfordshire Constabulary are working with a number of partners such as Trading Standards, Three Valleys Water and Neighbourhood Watch. They have asked Hertfordshire Crimestoppers to provide the anonymous crime reporting line that we are world famous for running.......more

Operation Tarantula

Hertfordshire Constabulary has launched a major initiative across East Herts to drive down the number of thefts from vehicles. Operation Wizard

Hertfordshire received information in 2005 from a Crimestoppers log that instigated the start of Operation Wizard.The log referred to fraudulent activity. It was actually referring to something commonly known as a Boiler Room scam - in other words the illegal marketing, promotion and sale of shares in a UK incorporated company.......more

Drugs have an effect on all our neighbourhoods. Currently Hertfordshire Constabulary, in partnership with Hertfordshire Crimestoppers and Hertswatch, are seeking to identify residential properties being used in the production of Cannabis.
