Rose Launch

The Crimestoppers Rose was developed by Love4plants on behalf of Hertfordshire Crimestoppers and Hertfordshire Police Authority. It was launched at last years' Hampton Court Flower Show by Peter Camilletti (Chairman Herts Crimestoppers) and Brenda Griffiths, Vice Chair of Herts Police Authority.
They were joined by TV police stars Sgt June Ackland (Trudie Goodwin) from The Bill and DI Derek Grim (David Haig) from The Thin Blue Line. Charlie Dimmock was also looking on.
This beautiful, medium red floribunda rose grows to around 80cm and has a delicate fragrance. With glossy green foliage and good disease resistance, the Crimestoppers Rose will make a welcome addition to any garden.
Money raised from the sale of the Crimestoppers Rose will help fund Hertfordshire Crimestoppers, as we will receive £2 from each rose sold. Care for your rose and it will give years of enjoyment.

To purchase a rose online please click here. This will take you directly to the Crimestoppers Rose.
Please Note: You WILL NOT be able to purchase online for roses that are out of season (Bareroot Roses are in season October to February, with potted roses available until July) so please telephone 08452 606888 to make purchases for the subsequent season.
Thank you for your support and we hope you enjoy your rose.
How Can You Help

Crimestoppers is a charity and relies on the support of businesses and individuals for finance. There are a number of ways you can help us:

  • Pay for a poster campaign that catches criminals
  • Support the design and printing of information leaflets
  • Sponsor an event that will generate good publicity
  • Make a donation to our work. £200 covers the cost of arresting one criminal
  • Publicise Crimestoppers in your in-house magazine
  • Include our freephone number in customer mailings or on your web site
  • Choose Crimestoppers Trust as your "Charity of the Year"
  • Provide seconded staff who can bring their skills to the board of Hertfordshire Crimestoppers

Do you care about detecting crime in Hertfordshire?

Why not volunteer to join the Board for Hertfordshire Crimestoppers that started in January 2005?

We are looking for additional representation on the Board from the Districts of Hertford, Borehamwood, and Broxbourne.

What skills can you bring with you to support this worthy Charitable cause? For further information please contact us by clicking here.

Raffle Prizes

Hertfordshire Crimestoppers fundraise throughout the year to support our crime reduction initiatives in schools and communities throughout the County. We run a number of raffles at events, with many of the prizes being donated by our board members.

We would appreciate your help by donating any new items you think would be suitable as a raffle prize. If you are a private individual have you been given anything you know you will never use but someone else might like. If you are a business would you like to donate a prize or let us have any promotional gifts you no longer need. If you wish we can also acknowledge your name or business on this website, for a few weeks, as a prize donor.

If you would like to donate please email mog@hertscrimestoppers.org.uk with your contact details and we will endeavour to arrange collection at a convenient time by one of our board members who live in your area.

Raffle and Auction

Members of the Hertfordshire Crimestoppers Board raised £450 via a raffle and auction on 18th July 2008. We would like to thank all the people who bought tickets or bid. As always 100% of the money raised goes towards the projects we run in Hertfordshire schools, colleges and communities to help make the County a safer place.

Midsummer Charity Night

Hertfordshire Crimestoppers are pleased to report that our joint Midsummer Charity Night on Saturday 21st June 2008 with Iain Rennie Hospice at home raised a total of £2000. This sum will be shared equally between the two charities.
